We’re excited to partner with Apus, a fellow Permaweb Index project, on storage for a new project powered by onchain AI. Apus will demo a digital twin proof of concept at TOKEN2049 using Load’s S3 storage layer – here’s everything you need to know.
About Apus Network
Apus Network is building towards a decentralized, trustless GPU network dedicated to empowering verifiable deAI inference through deterministic GPU computing, leveraging ao network and its HyperBEAM operating system.
The Apus team is focused on enhancing the efficiency of compute-intensive tasks like deep learning, verifiable onchain AI, HyperBEAM AI-adjacent & TEE device development. To learn more about the Apus Network and their latest updates, check out the official website.
About Load Network
Load Network, by Decent Land Labs is building the onchain data center: high-throughput EVM compute powered by Arweave’s permanent data storage and ao-HyperBEAM, and temporary data storage on top of ao and HyperBEAM.
Load’s EVM testnet is live in phase Alphanet V5, and the temporary storage layer (Load S3) is live in the beta testnet phase powering thousands of HyperBEAM-stored ANS-104 DataItems.
Apus Network & Load S3
We are thrilled to share that the Apus Network team is integrating the Load S3 temporary storage layer for a stealth AI project, set to be demoed publicly during the TOKEN2049 Singapore event by the Apus team – if you are attending TOKEN2049, make sure you hit up the Apus team and attend their event!
Load S3 will be used to store user prompt inputs for an AI-powered digital twin proof of concept. Load S3 fits the use case perfectly given its HyperBEAM-ao alignment, having S3 objects under the ANS-104 DataItem format natively, and the great cost-efficient capacity to start large datasets and permanently push what’s valuable to Arweave, while maintaining the DataItem provenance and integrity across both systems.
The load-s3-agent, which powers the Load Cloud Platform, will be the main Load S3 data entrypoint used by the Apus team.
What’s Next
Bit by bit, the Arweave & ao ecosystem is building towards a better cyberspace where data and compute meet hyperscalability, micro-modularity and onchain innovation. Today marks the collaboration between the Apus and Load team, driving forward the Permaweb Index ecosystem.
Stay tuned for the Apus team announcements during TOKEN2049 and make sure to give them a follow on X
